Responsibilities of the role German speaking Telesales / German speaking Customer Service role;

  • Speaking to customers in Germany and Austria over the phone, outbound calling
  • Generate new sales or subscriptions to the different services offered
  • Collecting information from the customer and inputting this correctly and appropriately on the database
  • Scheduling call backs for customers at a more convenient time
  • Use all resources available to gain product knowledge
  • Suggest improvements to sales techniques
  • Support team members with questions and or issues
  • Reaching set targets and KPI's and track this

Your German Customer Service Agent, Complaints Handler Role

As German Customer Service Agent, Complaints Handler you will be working for an airline company in their modern offices in Wembley with a great team environment and career progression 

  • You will provide an excellent customer service experience to customers via email and chat to resolve their complaints and issue refunds in German, you won’t be making or receiving calls, but providing primarily email - based support
  • You will act as the sole point of contact for German speaking customers and guide them through their query in a friendly and helpful manner
  • You will investigate and research each complaint so they can be resolved as quickly as possible
  • You will receive and direct complaints for further investigation
  • You will create routine correspondence including letters and reports in German
  • You will establish effective working relationships with other agents from the customer service team

About you

To be able to fulfil the role you will need to be fluent in German and English with at least 1-2 years experience in German-speaking customer support, customer service, handling complaints, administration, secretarial, clerical or a similar role

  • Preferably experienced in a direct German speaking customer-facing role and providing primarily email - based support
  • Excellent written and communication skills in German with particular ability to adjust tone based on customer's situation
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and technical aptitude
  • Empathetic and can communicate in a caring and friendly manner
  • Strong time management skills and motivation to exceed expectations
  • IT competent
